Spanish Film Festival

A taste of Spain is coming to Sydney, with the launch this week of the Spanish Film Festival at the Palace Verona and the Chauvel Cinema.

There’s a veritable smorgasbord of films on offer, and plenty of Penelope Cruze, who’s big film this year has been Parallel Mothers, a film by her longtime collaborator, director Pedro Almodóvar.

This year the festival will also offer films from Latin America, as well as Spain. This week’s line up at the Chauvel Cinema (239 Oxford St) is:
