Molten at Saint Cloche Gallery

Saint Cloche Gallery is this week showing painter Carissa Karamarko’s gorgeous exhibition, Molten.

Molten is “an exploration of worlds within worlds and sinking deep into one's imagination”.

The Melbourne based artist’s works “celebrate the mind of a dreamer”.

“In Carissa Karamarko’s latest body of work, detail is not lost in rumination but replaced with fragments of other memories and guesstimates of the mind,” the gallery notes say.

“There are interventions of light throughout the dreamscapes of hidden naturalism, streaming across uniformly, as though sprawled across a table, or in harsh bursts as seen through a reflection or the corner of a window.”

The exhibition is showing until April 24.
