Puglia in Paddo
Not all of us can get to Italy this winter for the European summer but you can have a taste of la dolce vita at Barbetta.
The Elizabeth St Italian cafe and restaurant is introducing a new, limited-edition, pasta class series on how to make the regional specialties of Puglia.
The picturesque town, shown above, is famous for its orecchiette and guests have a hands-on chance to make it during the classes.
There’s also prosecco, wine, limoncello, salumi, burrata and a three-course Puglia-themed dinner hosted by chef Carmelo Cipri.
There are five dates only — from July 29 to August 19 — so be quick to book.
The $185 price is all inclusive including dinner, lesson and pasta to take home. It’s a wonderful chance to slip away to Italy for the evening.
