Bistro Moncur's new look

Queen St’s Woollahra Hotel and its famed restaurant, Bistro Moncur, have been relaunched after major renovations.

Perhaps the biggest change has been to the hotel’s front bar, which has been redesigned to “champion the classic pub experience”.

The space has been reworked with an emphasis on wood panelling and pub tiling, giving it a fresh take on a vintage Sydney pub feel.

Chef Jordan Muhamad has redone the food offerings at the hotel (excluding at Bistro Moncur).

Diners can expect a contemporary pub menu with an Asian influence in dishes such as hiramasa kingfish sashimi and house curries.

Bistro Moncur has also been fully refurbished, with head chef Mark Williamson keeping the menu at the establishment venue true to its French bistro roots.

Dishes include Barossa chicken pâté, grilled sirloin and saffron crab omelette.
